One of New York’s leading fitness instructors, Angie Lee is the Founder of FightWorksNYC, currently hosted at the St. Paul and St.Andrew United Methodist church.
Angie’s signature classes include FightWorksCKB© ( cardio kickboxing), FightWorksS&C© (Strength and Conditioning), StrengthWorks©, AthleticWorks©, and PilatesWorks©.
Angie also leads her signature classes at Reebok Sports Club NY and Asphalt Green Battery Park City where she brings her signature workout styles to a loyal following of students and private clients. She also teaches indoor cycling and Myofascial release.
Born in Athens and raised in London, Angie studied classical ballet, contemporary dance and musical theater. In 1994, Angie moved to New York to pursue a career in modern and video dance. After a chance encounter with a fitness magazine on the subway riding home from a dancing job, Angie joined a health club, where she began working with a personal trainer. Angie persevered, the way she does with everything in her life, quickly becoming a sought-after certified group fitness instructor herself, as well as a personal trainer, and hanging up her dancing shoes for good.
Angie’s certifications include Kickboxing, IKFF Kettlebell Instructor, Pilates Initiation 101 & 201, CST Circular Strength Training 101, Schwinn Cycling, Mad Dog ®Spinning, KBC Group Exercise Instructor, M.E.L.T (Myofascial Energetic Lengthening Technique), BOSU, Will Power and Grace, Urban Rebounding, and Standing Pilates.
Angie has a passion for the art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, holds a Blue Belt and is currently training at Renzo Gracie Academy in NYC.
